Expressive Arts Therapy: Mask Making
June 15, 2019 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pmFree
Join us as we delve into recovery from our binding addictions. Through creativity, recovery and wellness can be supported in a unique way, allowing participants to tell their stories using the unique language of images, colors and shapes. When we use a different language, we tell a different story and in turn gain new insight and genuine change. In this three-hour workshop we will be collaging masks, exploring both how we present ourselves to the world and our shadow side, ways we hide and disconnect from our essential selves.
About Aziza Balle, MEd
In 2008 Aziza was introduced to expressive arts and since then it has been an essential part of her life. Life presents a gazillion opportunities to align with a dimension of oneself that is not: not the critical one, the judge or controlling one, the one who wants and wants and wants. Aziza has learned to move and flow with the “is-ness” of her being, embracing her energy and feelings and respecting the unknown.
